The story of this rock and roll group started decades ago. Julius (Ray) Pittman, Chris Link and Richard Cowles first played together in May of 1976 as a rock band named “Bull”. The group stayed together until 1980.

Marion Hodges played for years with The English Channel” and jammed with drummer Chris Link and bassist Richard Cowles. In 2018 these three, along with Ray Pittman, decided to start a new group - “Sons of Bach”, (abbreviated as SOB).

Sons of Bach (SOB) is:
Julius (Ray) Pittman - Keyboards and Vocals
Marion Hodges - Lead Guitar and Vocals
Richard Cowles - Bass and Vocals
Chris Link - Drums and Vocals

Check out their performance schedule, videos and more on the Sons of Bach Facebook page >>

LOOSE GRAVEL , featuring Springer musician Bill Coon, play Classic Rock - The Way You Like IT! Songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Bill, David, Henry and Ray play about 100 shows a year and are familiar to Springers, having played many previous Blasts. You'll hear all the bands you love, but not the obvious songs. Look for some special songs and guest musicians just for this show!

These guys are ready to Rock n Roll with songs reminiscent of the old Blast days when they take the stage at 9:30 PM.

Loose Gravel is:
Bill Coon - (HSHS Class of '72) Guitar and Vocals
David Tetlow - Guitar and Vocals
Henry Gerber - Bass and Vocals
Ray Lassiter - Drums and Vocals
