Class of '87 20-Year Reunion
The Class of 1987 held its 20-year reunion Aug. 17 and 18, 2007, gathering for three events.

We kicked off the weekend with a "classmates only" mixer Friday night at Carlton's in Richmond's Fan district. We had a chance to catch up, let loose, and recall the good old days in casual comfort. Carlton did it up right with delicious hors d'oeuvres and a generous and now well-loved bartender.

Saturday afternoon, grillmasters Bob Vincent and Derrick Brown treated us and our families to a good old-fashioned cookout at Three Lakes Park. The pavilion filled with laughter and cries of "NO WAY!" as we introduced ourselves, our spouses, and our little (and for some 'not so little') ones. The weather was fine as tunes from back in the day pumped prompting one precious cherub to ask her mommy, "Is this the music from your time?"

Saturday night we played hard during Springers Casino Night at the Wyndham Richmond Airport. Fortunately for many the tables accepted only "play" money. While many took a gamble, others danced the night away. Good music, good food, good fun, and good friends... It was a party that will be hard to top!

Blast From The Past 2007
The Blast From The Past 2007 rocked August 18, 2007. 428 folks partied the night away at the Acca Auditorium as The Barracudas, Loose Gravel and The River Rockers played from 8 to 11:30PM. From 11:30 to Midnight, all three bands came together to perform six pre-chosen songs.

Friday night - September 22nd was a get-together at the HSHS Football Game Friday night, September 22 - home game versus Godwin High with pizza at Roma's restaurant on Nine Mile Road afterwards (children welcome).

Saturday night - September 23rd was the Reunion Party beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Europa Mediterranean Café and Tapas Bar in Richmond's Shockoe Bottom.

Class of 1966 40th Year Reunion
From the Class of 1966 Reunion Committee:

After a year of planning, the HSHS Class of 1966 held its' 40th Reunion on August 5th, 2006. It was held at the Sandston Moose Lodge. The committee was so excited about the number of classmates who took the time from their busy lives and attended the reunion.

It was so amazing to hear stories of jobs and careers, retirements and new dreams, children and grandchildren, separations and re-connections. ( We have one couple who after thirty years, reconnected, got engaged and are planning to marry.)

We were saddened to learn of departed classmates. The gathering of friends, the sharing of memories and the making of new memories all made the night special.

Everyone (we hope) will be back in 2011 for our 45th Reunion!
